Ministry of Defence, Indian Coast Guard invites application from eligible candidates to join the Indian Coast Guard as Navik (Domestic Branch – Cook & Steward) for 01/2015 Batch. Unmarried and interested Male candidates may apply for the vacancies on prescribed application format (See PDF file below). Educational Qualification norms and other details in brief are given below —
NAVIK (DOMESTIC BRANCH) (COOK & STEWARD)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Madhyamik with 50% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: 18 to 22 years , i.e. born between 01/04/1993 to 31/03/1997. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.
Only unmarried Male Indian nationals who meets the above said qualification and age are eligible to apply.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Fitness test and Medical Examination. Date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course through Call Letters. The selection process may take place during Aug/Sept 2014. See PDF below for details.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on plain paper mentioning the details as given in the issued format (See PDF file below for application format), along with attested copies of testimonials such as Qualification certificate, Age proof, Caste certificate and Etc.
Candidates must also enclose one Self-Addressed (unstamped) envelope of size 22×10 cms, with the Application form.
