INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE EXAMINATION- 2020
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University/ Institute.
Note:- Candidates who have appeared at the examination but whose results have not yet been declared may also apply for the Indian Economic Service Examination, 2020. For more details please see the officially released advertisement.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and below 30 years as on 01/08/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
On the basis of the result of Indian Economic Service Examination, 2020 the candidates will be selected for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of the Services.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Viva voce. The examination will be commencing from 16th October, 2020. The examination will be held at various centres across India. For more details please see the official advt.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 200/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/ SC/ ST/ PWBD CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — http://www.upsconline.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 11/08/2020 to 01/09/2020 upto 06:00 PM.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
