INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMINATION- 2020
No. of Vacancies: 90 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any recognized Universities/ Institutions or possess an equivalent qualification.
ii) Candidates who have appeared at an examination but awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and below 32 years as on 01/08/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Competitive Examination which consist of two stages- (i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) and (ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview). The Preliminary Examination will be held on 31st May, 2020 at various centres across India. The Main Examination is likely to be held in November, 2020. For details please see the Official Advt.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.100/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/ SC/ ST/ PWBD CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — http://www.upsconline.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 12/02/2020 to 03/03/2020.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) AT THIS STAGE.
