Indian Navy is inviting application from unmarried Male/ Female candidates for Permanent Commission in Logistics Cadre and Short Service Commission in Education Branch and ATC of the Indian Navy. Course commencing Dec—2013 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Details in brief is given below —
1. PERMANENT CADRE IN LOGISTICS CADRE (ONLY MALE CANDIDATES MAY APPLY)
Branch/ Cadre—Logistics/ Works
Educational Qualification—
For Permanent Commission, Logistic Cadre: Minimum 60% marks in any one of the followings — B.com/ M.Com, BA/MA (Economics), BBA/MBA, BBM, BCA/MCA, B.Sc (IT)/ M.Sc(IT), B.Tech/ BE (any discipline), Graduate degree with Post Graduate Diploma/ Degree in Materials Management, ICWA, Chartered Accountancy
For Permanent Commission, Works Cadre: Minimum 60% in any one of the followings — BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering OR B. Architecture
2. SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION IN EDUCATION (FOR MALE & FEMALE CANDIDATES)
Branch/ Cadre— Education.
Educational Qualification: Minimum 50% marks in any one of the followings — M.Sc Physics (with Maths in B.Sc), MSc Math (with Physics in BSc), MCA, M.Sc (Operational Research/ Analysis), M.Sc (Meteorology/ Oceanography, Atmospheric Science), MA (English or History)
OR
Minimum 60% marks in any one of the followings — BE/B Tech/M Tech (Mechanical), BE/BTech/M Tech (Computer Science Engg./ IT), M Tech (Meteorology/ Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences)
3. SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION IN ATC (FOR MALE & FEMALE CANDIDATES)
Branch/ Cadre—ATC
Educational Qualification: B.Sc in Physics/ Maths or Electronics with 60% marks OR M.Sc in Physics/Maths or Electronics with 55% marks.
Age limit:—
For Logistics/ Works: between 19 ½ yrs to 25yrs.
For Education: between 21yrs to 25yrs.
For ATC: between 19 ½ yrs to 25yrs.
Physical Standards—
For Male: Height—157 cms with correlated weight.
For Female: Height—157 cms with correlated weight.
Candidates will be inducted as officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant in Dec 2013 and undergo Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala followed by professional training at various Naval Training Establishment/ Units/ Ships.
