INDIAN NAVY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION OFFICER AS PILOT /OBSERVER /NAIC, COURSE COMMENCING JAN 2017. LAST DATE — 29/04/2016
1. Pilot (Male only)
Educational Qualification:Â BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with Physics and Maths at 12th Standard. Minimum percentage in BE/B.Tech for Pilot entry is 60% and for Observer entry is 55%. CPL holder must have valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India).
Physical Standard (Height):
Male – 162.5 cms
With correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length
Age Limit:Â Minimum-19 years and maximum- 24 years (19 years to 25 years in case of CPL holder)
2. Observer (For both Male and Female)
Educational Qualification:Â BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with Physics and Maths at 12th Standard. Minimum percentage in BE/B.Tech for Pilot entry is 60% and for Observer entry is 55%.CPL holder must have valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India).
Physical Standard (Height):
Male – 162.5 cms
Female – 152 cms
With correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length
Age Limit:Â Minimum-19 years and maximum- 24years
3. NAIC (Male only)
Educational Qualification:Â BE/ B.Tech with 60% in any one of the streams i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Instrumentation, IT, Chemical Metallurgy and Aerospace Engineering
Physical Standard (Height):
Male – 157 cms
With correlated weight, as per age and height.
Age Limit:Â Minimum-19 & half years and maximum- 25years
Note: Only unmarried Male/Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview. Interview will be held from June 2016 to August 2016 at Bangalore for pilot & observer, SSB interviews for NAIC will be at Bangalore / Bhopal / Coimbatore / Visakhapatnam.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of India Navy

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and other copy, along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), is to be send at the below given address so as to reach on or before 09/05/2016
