Indian Navy, Headquarters Southern Naval Command, Kochi is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 262 posts of Multi Tasking Staff (Ministerial and Non-Industrial), viz.- Peon, Watchman, Safaiwala, Barber, Sahayika, Lab Attendant, Dresser and Dhobi. MULTI TASKING STAFF (MINISTERIAL): 246 posts

i) Peon: 54 posts (UR-25, SC-10, ST-04, OBC-15)
ii) Watchman: 35 posts (UR-21, SC-04, ST-05, OBC-05)
iii) Safaiwala: 157 posts (UR-79, SC-15, ST-08, OBC-55)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent

Age Limit: Between 18 years to 27 years as on closing date of application form

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

MULTI TASKING STAFF (NON-INDUSTRIAL): 16 posts

i) Dhobi: 01 posts (UR-01)
ii) Barber: 01 posts (UR-01)
iii) Dresser: 02 posts (UR-01, OBC-01)
iv) Ward Sahayika: 06 posts (UR-01, SC-01, OBC-04)
v) Lab Attendant: 06 posts (UR-04, ST-01, OBC-01)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent with proficiency in relevant trade.

Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on closing date of application form

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline):  Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be based on Written Examination. Question papers will be Objective type-multiple choice question and will be of Matriculation level in English & Hindi.

Written Examination will be held on 25 Sep 2016 / 01 Oct 2016.
