Educational Qualification: 03 years of Engineering Diploma in relevant trade/ discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST)

2. TRADE APPRENTICE

Trade Apprentice (Accountant) in West Bengal including Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and Assam – 21 Posts
Trade/ Discipline – Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Data Entry Operator and Retail Sales Associate
Educational Qualification: For Accountant – Regular Full Time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD)
For Data Entry Operator – Class 12 pass
For Retail Sales Associate – 12 pass and should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Retail Trainee Associate’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Govt.
For rest of Trades – Matrict pass and ITI in relevant Trades.
Age Limit: 18 – 24 years as on 31/01/2021
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
NOTES: Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as BE/B Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA or any such equivalent qualification or pursuing higher qualification shall NOT be considered.
Candidates who have completed 3 YEARS after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification as on date of reckoning, i.e., 31.01.2021 shall NOT BE ELIGIBLE for engagement.
Engagement of Technical and Non-Technical Apprentices at Indian Oil Corporation Limited- Eastern Region (Marketing Division), applicable to the States of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, & Assam
Candidates’ Selection: Selection shall be on the basis of performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test (Duration 90 Minutes) and meeting notified eligibility criteria.
WRITTEN TEST WILL BE CONDUCTED AT KOLKATA, PATNA, BHUBANESWAR, RANCHI & GUWAHATI. Tentative date of Written Test is 14/03/2021 and candidates may download their Admit Card tentatively on 01/03/2021.
