Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is recruiting 156 Requires Boiler Operation Engineers, Medical Officers, Quality Control Officers, Human Resource Officers, Assistant Officers (Health, Safety & Environment) & Assistant Hindi Officers for its various Divisions. 1. Boiler Operations Engineer : 26 Nos.
Qualification: 4 year B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical discipline (Regular full time Engineering course from recognized Indian University / Institute) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). The candidate must possess Boiler Engineer‟s Certificate (1st Class Proficiency) issued by the State Boiler Authorities.
Experience—Minimum one year experience in the field in large size Thermal Power Plant having Coal/Oil/Gas Fuelled Boiler.
Age: 30yrs.
2. Medical Officer : 20 Nos.
Specialization — General Physician, Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Gynaecologist & Obestrician, Orthopaedician
Qualification: MD/ MS in respective specialization.
Experience: Minimum 02 yrs experience in the respective area of specialization.
Age: 32yrs.
3. Quality Control Officer : 17 Nos.
Qualification: Ph.D in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks in Graduation and Post-Graduation level.
Experience: Minimum 2yrs in the field
Age: 30yrs.
4. Human Resource Officer : 32 Nos.
Qualification: 2 year full time regular post graduate Diploma / Masters Degree in Human Resource / Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Social Work or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST and (PWD))
Experience: Minimum 02yrs in HR Functional areas
Age: 30yrs.
5. Assistant Officer (Health, Safety & Environment) : 50 Nos.
Qualification: Regular full time BE / B.Tech. degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65 % marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC / ST candidates) and one year one year full time diploma in Industrial Safety from one of the Central / Regional Labour Institutes.
Experience: Minimum 02yrs post qualification relevant experience preferably in a Chemical Industry.
Age: 30yrs.
6. Assistant Hindi Officer : 11 Nos.
Qualification: First Class M.A. in Hindi (Second Class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) with English as subject at Graduation Level or First Class Master‟s Degree in English (Second Class for SC/ST and PWD). Candidates with Ph.D qualification shall be given preference.
Experience: 3yrs experience in Hindi implementation / translation or Media
Age: 30yrs.
Upper age relaxation: The age of the candidates will be counted as on 30/06/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and others were as Govt. norms.
Candidates Selection: The selection of candidates will be through Written Test (objective type consisting of two parts – General Aptitude and Discipline Knowledge) , Group Discussion/Group Task and Personal Interview.
The Selection process for the posts of Boiler Operation Engineers & Medical Officers will comprise Personal Interviews only
Date and venue will be intimated through Call Letters. Call letters can be downloaded from the IOC’s website in due course.
Written Test is likely to be held on 06/04/2014 (2nd week of April for the post of BOE and Medical Officer) at New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai & Chennai

Upon successful submission of the online Application form, the system will generate a unique Registration number along with the completed application form.
Candidates are required to take a printout of the Registration Slip, affix recent passport size photograph, put signature at the space provided, attach the Original Demand Draft, attested copies of certificates in support of qualification, experience, age, caste, disability etc. and send it to the below address by ORDINARY POST only.
Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer should also attach copies of Internship completion certificate and registration certificate from State Medical Council.
Superscribe the top left hand corner of the envelope with the name of the post applied for.
Application Fee: Rs.300/- is to be paid in form of Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687) in favour of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED (REFINERIES DIVISION) payable at New Delhi. Candidates from Delhi may submit Pay Order/ Banker‟s Cheque instead of Demand Draft.
