Indian Oil Corporation Ltd— Northern Region Pipelines of IOCL is recruiting 14 persons for the post of – Engineering Assistant (Mechanical/ Electrical/ T&I) and Technical Attendant-I. Advertisement No. NRPL/P&A/P/Rectt./2012. Diploma holders in Engineering and I.T.I candidates may apply for the post. Details below—
1. Engineering Assistant (Mechanical)– Grade IV : 3 Nos. (Gen-2; OBC-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering of 3 years of duration in full time with minimum 55% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST candidates).
Preferable Experience—2 yrs post qualification experience in relevant area. Working knowledge in Computer is desirable.
2. Engineering Assistant (Electrical)– Grade IV: 4 Nos. (Gen-2; SC-1; OBC-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering of 3yrs full time with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST)
Preferable Experience— same as above post.
3. Engineering Assistant (T&I)– Grade IV: 2 Nos. (Gen-1; OBC-1)
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Radio Communication or Instrumentation & Control or Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering of 3yrs of full time with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST candidates).
Preferable Experience— Same as above post.
4. Technical Attendant—I: 5 Nos. (Gen-4; OBC-1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass (Class-10) with I.T.I. in any on the following trades—Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Fitter, Machinist, Machinist (Grinder), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Information Technology & ESM, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electrician, Wireman, Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics Communication System, Electronic Mechanic, Turner, Instrument Mechanic, Marine Fitter, Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant), Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant), Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air Conditioner), Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), Mechanic (Radio & TV), Mechanic (Diesel), Mech. Repair & Maintenance of Light Vehicle, Mech. Repair & Maintenance of Heavy Vehicle, Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic, Armature & Motor Rewinding, Mechanical Communication Equipment Maintenance and Marine Engine Fitter.
Preferable Experience— 2yrs of post qualification experience in relevant area.
Age limit: Candidates should be within 18yrs to 26yrs as on 31/3/2012 for any one of the post mentioned above. Relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test which may hold on 3rd and 4th of June 2012. However the exact date and venue would be announced later on the official website of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Candidates having higher qualification than the above mentioned qualification shall be rejected.
