Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Barauni Refinery, is recruiting 61 candidates for the posts of — Junior Engineering Assistant- IV, Junior Quality Control Analyst-IV/Trainee, Jr. Control Room Operator-IV and Etc in different discipline. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
1. Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) / Trainee: 25 Nos. (Gen –14; SC—4; OBC—7)
Education Qualification: B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or 3 year Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
2. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation) / Trainee: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; OBC—1)
Education Qualification: 3 year Diploma in Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics
3. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical)/ Trainee: 13 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—1; OBC—5)
Education Qualification: 3 year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
4. Jr. Quality Control Analyst-IV / Trainee: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1). Out of total posts, 1nos. reserved for PWD – OH category.
Education Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry) / B.Sc. Hons. in Chemistry with Physics and Maths as subsidiary subjects (Minimum – 55% marks in the Hons. / Principal subject). Candidates with M.Sc (Chemistry) must have done B.Sc. Hons. in Chemistry with Physics and Maths as subsidiary subjects with minimum 50% marks in the Hons/Principal subject during Graduation.
60% and 55% respectively for Trainees in above qualification criteria.
5. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U) – Turbine/ Trainee: 7 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; OBC—2)
Education Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
6. Jr. Control Room Operator-IV/ Trainee and Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)/ Trainee: 5 NOs. (Gen—2; OBC—3)
Education Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering
7. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U)- Boiler: 2 Nos. (Gen-1; SC-1)
Education Qualification: B.Sc (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) and IInd Class Boiler Competency Certificate OR Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and IInd Class Boiler Competency Certificate.
8. Jr. Materials Assistant-IV / Trainee: 1 Nos. (OBC- PWD-HH category)
Education Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and Working knowledge in computer is required.
9. Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety) / Trainee: 2 Nos. (Gen-1; SC-1)
Education Qualification: Matriculation plus Sub Officer’s course from NFSC Nagpur OR Matriculation plus 6 months’ Fireman’s Course.
Candidates must have valid heavy vehicle driving licence.
Physical Standards of the candidates: Height—165 cms (minimum); Weight—50kgs (minimum) and Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 81/ 86 cms and Vision – 6/6 without glasses.
Age Limits (For all posts): Between 18 years to 26yrs (between 18yrs to 24yrs for Trainees), as on 31/07/2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms. OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs; PWD- 10yrs.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Personal Interview. Candidates may apply for any one of the post.
