ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Number of Vacancies: 36 posts (SC—12; ST—06; OBC—18)
Subjects/ Branches — Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and Computer Science and areas related to Statistics
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have a Ph.D in the appropriate branch and should ordinarily a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout except as provided for the in the exemption clause. The candidates should ordinarily have at least 03 years of post Ph.D research/ teaching/ industrial experience.
Eligibility criteria will suitably be relaxed wherever applicable. Selected candidates will be posted at headquarters and other centres of the Institute depending on the needs.
Age: Below 35 years
Pay Band-3: Rs.15600—Rs.39100 with minimum pay of Rs.30,000/- per month and Grade Pay: Rs.8000/- plus other allowances as per norms. After completion of 3yrs service in PB-3, they will be placed in PB-4 Rs.37400—670000 with Grade Pay: Rs.9000/- plus other allowances as per norms.
