1. ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR IN THE WEST BENGAL ELECTRICITY SERVICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF POWER & NON- CONVENTIONAL ENERGY SOURCES, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (SC-02, ST-01, OBC-02, PWD-01, UR-03)
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications.
ii) Thorough working knowledge of actual generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy.
iii) Ability to take accurate observation of electrical test, to test and calibrate alternating current and direct current electrical instruments.
iv) Ability to prepare electrical schemes with estimates.
Experience: At least 08 years’ practical experience in an electrical engineering workshop or electrical power station.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600- 42, 000/- with Grade Pay Rs.6, 600/-
2. INSPECTOR OF LIFTS IN THE WEST BENGAL ELECTRICITY SERVICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF POWER & NON- CONVENTIONAL ENERGY SOURCES, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL

Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications.
Experience: At least 08 years’ regular engagement in the practice of electrical engineering including 02 years’ experience in the installation and / or maintenance of lifts.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600- 42, 000/- with Grade Pay Rs.6, 600/-
3. QUINOLOGIST, GOVERNMENT QUININE FACTORY, MUNGPOO, DARJEELING IN THE DIRECTORATE OF CINCHONA AND OTHER MEDICINAL PLANTS, WEST BENGAL IN WEST BENGAL GENERAL SERVICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES AND HORTICULTURE, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (preference will be given to an Applied Chemist or an Industrial Chemist) of an Indian University with a first class either in Master’s degree or in B.Sc. Honours degree (preference will be given to a candidate with sound knowledge in Botany) OR an equivalent degree of a British or other recognized foreign University.
Experience: i) Experience in industrial concerns producing quinine or pharmaceutical drugs.
ii) Research experience for a period of at least two years.
Age Limit: Between 30-40 years as on 01/01/2018.

4. ASSISTANT QUINOLOGIST, GOVERNMENT QUININE FACTORY, MUNGPOO, DARJEELING IN THE DIRECTORATE OF CINCHONA AND OTHER MEDICINAL PLANTS, WEST BENGAL IN WEST BENGAL GENERAL SERVICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES AND HORTICULTURE, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (an Applied Chemist or Pharmaceutical Chemist or M.Pharm or B.Tech. (with Chemistry as the major subject or an Industrial Chemist) will be preferred) of an Indian University, preferably with a first class either in Master’s degree or in the B.Sc. honour’s degree (preference will be given to a candidate with a knowledge of Botany) OR an equivalent degree of a British or other recognized foreign University.
Experience: Research experience for a period of at least one year.
Age Limit: Maximum 36 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600 – 42, 000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-

Reserved Category candidates from the States other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
Note: For all the above posts candidates should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not applicable for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC. Upper age relaxation upto 45 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test/ Written Test and Interview.
