Intelligence Bureau (IB), under Ministry of Home Affairs, is recruiting 532 Security Assistant (Executive) for vacancies in different Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau. Interested and eligible candidates may submit the application through Online mode through the official website of IB. Educational Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10 pass) or equivalent. Candidates must have knowledge of Local language/ dialect as specified above against each Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau/ Centre of Examination.
Desirable: Field experience in Intelligence work is desirable but not compulsory.

N.B: Candidates may apply for any one Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB)/ Centre depending on their knowledge in local language/ dialect in reading, writing and speaking.

Age Limit: Maximum 27yrs as on 12/02/2014. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates and for Others—as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- plus allowances at Central Govt. rates

The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and will be of Objective Type test on General Knowledge, Current Awareness, Aptitude, Reasoning, General Arithmetic and English of 100 marks.
N.B: Examination for all centres will be held on same day; therefore candidates may apply for any one SIB/Centre only depending upon their knowledge of the local language/ dialect.

Those candidates who meet specific standard in the objective type test will be further called for a local language test (50 marks) and personality test (50 marks). The date, place and time of local language and personality test shall be intimated to the candidates online.
Finally qualified candidates will further go for medical examination.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply only through Online from the official website of Intelligence Bureau/ Ministry of Home Affairs — www.mha.nic.in (See the live URL to Application form given below).

Application Fee: After submission of Part-I of Application form, candidates will require to print-out the Fee Challan. Using this fee challan, candidates shall deposit the fee of Rs.50/- through any branch of State Bank of India. Fee can be also paid through Online mode during submission of Online Application form.
NO APPLICATION FEE OF SC/ST AND ALL WOMEN CANDIDATES. 

After final submission of Online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain it safely for later use and references.
Do not send the print-out of Registration Slip or any other hard copy of application to IB.

Last Date of Application: Online Application form can be submitted from dated 18/01/2014 to 17/02/2014.
