Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Guwahati Refinery is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 45 posts of Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), Fitter, Boiler, Technician Apprentice (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation). INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED, GUWAHATI REFINERY, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 45 POSTS OF TRADE APPRENTICE- ATTENDANT OPERATOR (CHEMICAL PLANT) FITTER, BOILER, TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE (CHEMICAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION). LAST DATE — 31.07.2016

 

1. Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)
Discipline – Chemical: 10 Nos. (UR-06, OBC-02, SC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Three years full time B.Sc (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry) as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 18 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6970/- for First year and Rs.9718/- For Second year per month.

 

2. Trade Apprentice (Fitter)
Discipline – Mechanical: 05 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Matric with 2 (Two) years ITI (Fitter) course as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 12 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6970/- per month.

 

3. Trade Apprentice (Boiler)
Discipline – Mechanical: 06 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-03)
Educational Qualification: Three years full time B.Sc (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry) as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 36 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6970/-pm for First year and Rs.9718/-pm for Second year and Rs.10620/- pm for Third year per month.

 

4. Technician Apprentice
Discipline -Chemical: 08 Nos. (UR-04, OBC-01, SC-01, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: Three years Full Time, regular/sandwich Diploma course in Chemical Engineering /Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 12 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10620/- per month.

 

5. Technician Apprentice
Discipline – Mechanical: 06 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-03)
Educational Qualification: Three years Full Time, regular/sandwich Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 12 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10620/- per month.

 

6. Technician Apprentice
 Discipline -Electrical: 07 Nos. (UR-04, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Three years Full Time, regular/sandwich Diploma course in Electrical Engineering as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 12 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10620/- per month.

 

7. Technician Apprentice
Discipline -Instrumentation: 03 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Three years Full Time, regular/sandwich Diploma course in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering as a regular full time course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions) in aggregate.
Candidates will be on Apprenticeship training for the period of 12 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.06.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10620/- per month.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
