The IP University PhD Apply Online 2026-27 Winter process has started on 27th October 2026 for the Winter Session under Notice No. F.35(1)(1)/2026/RDC. Eligible candidates can submit their application forms through the Samarth portal at ipuadm.samarth.edu.in until 25th November 2026 (5:30 PM). All applicants, including PET-exempted candidates, must apply online and download the admit card, which must be shown at the interview. IP University PhD Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria
The common minimum eligibility from the PhD Admission Brochure 2026-27 is given below. Some schools have extra conditions, which are listed in the school-wise section of the brochure.

Can West Bengal Students Apply for IP University PhD?
Yes. The brochure says PhD admission is done on an All-India basis, so postgraduates from West Bengal universities can apply. Reservation follows the State Reservation Policy notified by the university, so check the brochure before claiming a category. The PET is held at designated centres, and the interview is at the university, so be ready to travel to Delhi.
