Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) in respective discipline.
Candidates at final stage of BE/B.Tech course (2013-14) are also eligible to apply provided such candidates shall be able to produce their degree by 31/08/2014.
Age Limit: Maximum 35yrs as on 13/03/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-. The gross emoluments in the minimum of pay band will at present be approximately Rs 39,900/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
The post are temporary but likely to continue.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview.
The written test will be conducted on 26 April, 2014 [Saturday] at following centres – Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates shall apply online only through the official website of ISRO – www.isro.gov.in (See live URL below).
Upon successful submission of online Application form, the system generated Registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates shall note down the Registration number for future correspondence as well as may print-out the Registration Slip.
Application Fee: Candidates will require to pay Application Fee of Rs.100/-. Fee is to be paid by means of Fee Payment Challan only. The challan can be downloaded from the ISRO’s website, which will be generated automatically upon successful submission of Online Application form.
The challan will be in triplicate. Upon remittance of the application fee, one copy of the challan form will be retained by State Bank [Bank copy] and remaining two parts will be given to the candidate. Out of the two challan parts, the candidate has to send one part of the challan form [ISRO copy] to Head, P & GA (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore – 560094 by post superscribing on the envelope “ICRB – RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIST/ENGINEER” within 7 days of filing of application and in any case not later than 21/03/2014.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST/ EX-SERVICEMAN/ PWD AND ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES. Such candidates will require to send the print-out of Registration Confirmation Slip (ISRO Copy) along with Self Attested copy of Caste Certificate/ Discharge certificate/ PWD certificate (whichever is applicable) to Head, P & GA (ICRB) , ISRO HQ, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore – 560 094 by post superscribing on the envelope indicating their Registration Number and Post Code, within seven days of filing the online application and in any case not later than 21/03/2014.
Women candidates shall enclose self-attested copy of PAN card or Voter’s card or ID card/Passport or Ration card OR Gender status indicated in certificate issued by the Principal of the College where last studied, along with the Registration slip.
General and OBC candidates shall send only ISRO Copy of fee payment challan to the above said address within date prescribed above.

Hi Abhisek, you can send it either through speed post or through ordinary post by superscribing the name of the post applied for, on the envelope.
Since ordinary post is faster than speed post (my postmaster said this), so I have send mine by ordinary post.
Yes you can send through by any post…either normal/register or speed post…i am sending it through speed post from GPO…it is more faster and secure than normal post..you can track that until it is reached to destination..Hope this helped you.
And are you sending any other documents or printed application form with the ISRO challan copy?
