ISRO INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 112 POSTS OF LIGHT VEHICLE DRIVERS (LVD), HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVERS (HVD) AND STAFF CAR DRIVERS (SCD). LAST DATE — 24/09/2015
1. Light Vehicle Drivers: 69 Nos. (UR-44; OBC-14; SC-8; ST-3)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass or its equivalent and 03 years expenses as light vehicle driver. Candidates must possess valid light vehicle driving licence and public service badge, if statutory. /Experience Certificate should only be from Government/Semi-Government agencies/Registered Companies/ Societies/ Trusts, etc.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/09/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
2. Heavy Vehicle Drivers: 40 Nos. (UR-22; OBC-12; SC-5; ST-1)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass or its equivalent and 05 years expenses out of which 03 years as heavy vehicle driver. Candidates must possess valid heavy vehicle driving licence and public service badge, if statutory. /Experience Certificate should only be from Government/Semi-Government agencies/Registered Companies/ Societies/ Trusts, etc.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/09/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
3. Staff Car Drivers: 03 Nos. (UR-1; OBC-1; SC-1; ST-0)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass or its equivalent and 03 years expenses as light vehicle driver. Candidates must possess valid light vehicle driving licence and public service badge, if statutory. /Experience Certificate should only be from Government/Semi-Government agencies/Registered Companies/ Societies/ Trusts, etc.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/09/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates. Ex-Servicemen & others – as per Govt. norms.
The posts are temporary, but likely to continue. Selected candidates for the posts will be posted at various DOS/ISRO Centres/Unites, viz. – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Sriharikota and Thiruvananthapuram.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Test and Interview. Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be short-listed for Skill Test and those who qualify in the Skill Test will be qualified for nterview
Written Test and will be conducted on 08/11/2014 at seven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of ISRO. See officially released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF ALL WOMEN CANDIDATES, EX-SERVICEMAN, SC AND ST CATEGORIES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of ISRO — www.isro.gov.in (See link to Application form given below) till dated 24/09/2015
Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and should retain the same for future reference.
OBC and General/Unreserved categories should send one copy of fee payment challan (ISRO copy) to ISRO (at respective Zone where he/she opt to apply for. See PDF below for addresses.) by ORDINARY POST so as to reach on or before 30/09/2015. The envelope containing the Challan should be superscribed on top with – “ICRB – RECRUITMENT OF LVD/HVD/SCD”
Candidates who are exempted from fee payment do not need to send anything to ISRO. Such candidates should keep the registration slip safely for future references, if any.
