ISRO SDSC SHAR Teacher 2026 Educational Qualifications
The essential educational qualifications vary for each post. A summary is provided below:
For TGTs (Post Codes 01 to 03):
- 4-year integrated degree course from an NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate (including B.Ed. component).
- OR
- Bachelor’s/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and B.Ed. degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE recognized institution.
- CTET (Paper-II) qualified.
- Ability to teach in English & Hindi.
For TGT (Telugu) – Post Code 04:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main subject (OR) one of the 3 optional subjects (OR) BOL in Telugu (OR) PG Degree in Telugu.
- And B.Ed. with Telugu as a methodology (or) Telugu Pandit Training.
- Must have passed State TET/ CTET (Paper-II) with Telugu as one of the subjects.
For Primary Teacher – Post Code 05:
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed./D.El.Ed.) from a recognized Board/Institute.

ISRO SDSC SHAR Teacher 2026 Application Fee
The fee structure for the application is as follows:
- Application Fee: Rs. 250/-
- Processing Fee: Rs. 500/-
- Total Fee Payable: Rs. 750/-
Refund of Processing Fee:
- Candidates who are exempted from the Application Fee (Women, SC, ST, PWBD, Ex-Servicemen) will receive a full refund (Rs. 750/-) .
- All other candidates who appear for the Written Test will receive a refund of Rs. 500/- (after deduction of the application fee).
- Note: Only candidates who appear for the Written Test are eligible for the refund. The fee must be paid online only.

What is the Selection Process for ISRO SDSC SHAR Teacher 2026?
The selection process will consist of two main stages:
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- The written test will be conducted online.
- For TGT (Maths) & TGT (Science): The question paper will have 180 items covering Language Proficiency, General Awareness & Reasoning, Perspectives on Education, and Subject-Specific content.
- For TGT (Telugu): The question paper will have 180 marks covering General English, Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, and Telugu Language & Literature.
- For Primary Teacher: The test will cover similar areas relevant to primary education.
- Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written test.
- For TGT (Maths) & TGT (Science), candidates must secure 40% marks in each subject (e.g., for TGT Maths – 40% in Maths and 40% in Physics) and an aggregate of 50% to qualify.
Stage 2: Skill Test
- Candidates will be shortlisted for a Skill Test based on their performance in the CBT.
- Final selection will be purely based on the marks obtained in the Written Test.
Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in written test scores, the academic scores of the essential qualification will be the first tie-breaker, followed by the age of the candidate (senior candidate will be placed ahead).
