Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), under Ministry of Home Affairs, is recruiting eligible Male candidates for 229 post of “Head Constable (Telecommunication)”  Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted (Non Ministerial) on temporary basis likely to be permanent. HEAD CONSTABLE (TELECOMMUNICATION)

Number of Vacancies: 229 Nos. (Gen—116; SC—34; ST—17; OBC—62). 10% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

 

Educational Qualification:

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University;
OR 10th Class pass from a recognized Board with two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Electronics or Electrical or Computer from recognized Institute
OR 10th Class pass from a recognized Board with Science (PCM)and with three years Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical.

 

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 24.10.2014, i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 24.10.1989 and not later than 24.10.1996 Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Physical Standard:

Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) — 80/85cms (76/81 cms for ST); Weight – Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.

Eye- Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.

 

Physical Efficiency Test: 

Race of 5 Kms in 24 minutes. Candidates who will qualify this race will be eligible to go for further selection steps.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible male candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below) along with attested copies of testimonials in support of eligibility (such as Qualification certificate, Age proof, Caste and Etc.) and Application Fee.

Also enclose two self-addressed envelopes of 4”X9” size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope.

 

Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC category should pay the fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) (non-refundable) as application fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the issuing Post Office.
