INDO- TIBETAN BORDER POLICE FORCE INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 24 POSTS OF ASSISTANT SURGEON AND ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (ENGINEER). LAST DATE — 22.02.2016 (11:59pm)
1. Assistant Surgeon (Assistant Commandant / Veterinary): 13 Nos. (UR-04, SC-05, OBC (NCL)-04)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and Registration with the Veterinary Council of India.
Physical Standard:
(i) Male: Height -157.5 cms, Chest- Expanded-82 cms, Unexpanded-77cms,
(ii) Female: Height-142 cms, Chest- well developed.
Eye Sight: Near vision for Better eyes- N6, Worst eyes-N9. Distant Vision for Better eyes-6/6, worst eyes-6/12
Weight of the candidates should be proportionate to height.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600/- Rs.39100/- and Grade pay of Rs. 5400/-
2. Assistant Commandant (Engineer): 11 Nos. (UR-05, SC-02, ST-02, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC, ST)
Physical Standard:
(i) Male: Height -165 cms, Chest- Expanded-86 cms, Unexpanded-81cms,
(ii) Female: Height-157 cms
Eye Sight: Near vision for Better eyes- N6, Worst eyes-N9. Distant Vision for Better eyes-6/6, Worst eyes-6/12
Weight of the candidates should be proportionate to height.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600/- Rs.39100/- and Grade pay of Rs. 5400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case shall be the closing date i.e. 22/02/2016 (22/02/2016). Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Recruitment test and Interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- as Examination Fee. Candidates applying Online should pay their fee through online mode using Debit/ Credit card or net banking. Whereas candidates applying offline can pay their fee through Demand Draft or Indian Postal Orders drawn in favour of DDO, Dte. Gen. ITB Police Force, New Delhi.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, ST AND EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. (ii) Offline Mode — Candidates may also opt to apply offline on prescribed application format (See PDF below). Candidates applying offline may send their application along with testimonials at the following address.
