Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is recruiting 76 Constable (Animal Transport), General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted (Non Ministerial) on temporary basis likely to be permanent. CONSTABLE (Animal Transport)
Number of Vacancies: 76 Nos. (Gen—28; SC—8; ST—4; OBC—36). 10% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

 

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board.

 

Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years. Cutoff date for determining the age will be 15th December, 2014, i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 15.12.1989 and not later than 15.12.1996. as on 21/11/2014
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Physical Standards:
Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST) and Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) — 80/ 85 cms (76/81 cms for ST)
Cut-off in height and chest for candidates from Hilly areas candidates is as per norms. See PDF below.
Eye sight (for all): Minimum distant vision should 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction (i.e. without wearing glasses)

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should submit their application in prescribed application format (See PDF below). The application should either typed or neatly hand written in ball pen, on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application should be sent alongwith application fee, and enclosures in support of eligibility such as Qualification certificate, Age proof, Caste certificate and Etc.
Candidates must enclose 02 self-addressed envelopes of 4”x9” size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope.

 

Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC category should pay the fee of Rs. 50/- as application fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. These stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. These Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose. These Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the Counter Clerks of any Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Office.
CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE, SCHEDULED TRIBE AND EX-SERVICEMEN ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYING FEE.

Envelope containing Application must be superscribed in bold (CAPITAL) letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (ANIMAL TRANSPORT) IN ITBP.”

 

Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures shall reach on or before 21/11/2014    Extended to 15/12/2014  at the following address — “The Inspector General (North East) Frontier HQ ITBP, Old AP Secretariat Building, Cantt Area, GS Road, Shillong (Meghalaya) -793001”
