Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) is recruiting 511 candidates for the posts of – Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) and Constable (Driver). The vacancies are of General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted (Non Ministerial) on temporary basis but likely to be permanent in ITBPF. ITBP INVITES APPLICATION FOR 511 POSTS OF HEAD CONSTABLE (DRESSER VETERINARY) AND CONSTABLE (DRIVER). LAST DATE – 16/02/2015 (23.02.2015 for far flung areas)

 

1. HEAD CONSTABLE (DRESSER VETERINARY)
Number of Vacancies: 39 posts. (UR—20; SC—6; ST—4; OBC—9)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent from a recognized board AND should have passed Para Veterinary Course OR Diploma/ Certificate of minimum one year duration related to Veterinary Therapeutic/ Livestock Management.
Age: Between 18 to 25 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

2. CONSTABLE (DRIVER)
Number of Vacancies: 472 posts. (UR—149; SC—180; ST—48; OBC—95)
Qualification: Matriculation or Class 10 pass and shall possess valid driving license (Transport) for light or medium or heavy vehicles with minimum 02 years experience in driving.
Age: Between 21 to 27yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

The upper age limit indicated above will be counted as on 16.02.2015. The upper age limit will be relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST. Ex-Servicemen and Other – As per Govt. norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Note: Beside above mentioned Educational Qualification and Age limit, candidates should also meets the prescribed Physical Standards and Medical Standards.

Physical Standards:
Height – 170 cms (162.5cms for ST)
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80/ 85 cms (76/81 cms for ST candidates)
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Medical standard
Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes in minimum distant vision. Free from night blindness and color blindness.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

For cut-off in physical standards in case of candidates from Hill areas and Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Laddakh regions of J&K, please refer the officially released advt. Application Fee: Rs.50/- for General and OBC candidates by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. These stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. These Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose. These Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the Counter Clerks of any Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Office.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying fee

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format along with attested copies of testimonials in support of eligibility such as Qualification certificate, Age proof, caste certificate and Etc.
Candidates must also enclose 02 self-addressed envelopes of 4”x9” size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope.

Envelope containing Application must be superscribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _________ IN ITBP.”
