Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is recruiting 35 Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse), Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician) and Head Constable (Midwife). ITBP REQUIRES 35 SUB INSPECTOR (STAFF NURSE) ASST. SUB-INSPECTOR ( PHARMACIST/ LAB TECHNICIAN) AND HC (MIDWIFE). LAST DATE – 05/09/2014 (12.09.14 FAR FLUNG AREAS)
1. Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse): 8 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: 10+2 pass and shall have done General Nursing and Mid-wifery course. Applicant shall be registered with Central/ State Nursing Council.
Desirable—Experience as Nurse for 03 years is desirable.
Age limit: between 21 to 30 years.
2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist): 13 Nos. (Gen—6; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—4)
Qualification: 10+2 pass with subjects—Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND shall have done Diploma in Pharmacy. Applicant shall be registered as a Pharmacist.
Age Limit: between 20 to 28 years.
3. Assistant Sub Inspector (Lab Technician): 4 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—1)
Qualification: 10+2 pass with subjects—Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND shall have done Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. Applicant shall have experience of one year as Laboratory Technician.
Age Limit: between 20 to 28 years.
4. Head Constable (Midwife): 10 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—2; ST—2; OBC—2)
Qualification: Matriculation pass and Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery course. Applicant shall be registered in Nursing Council of Central/ State Govt.
Age Limit: between 18 to 25 years.
Upper age relaxation: Age mentioned above will be counted as on 05/09/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Physical Standards of the Candidates:
For Male candidates: Height—170 cms (162.5 cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—80/85cms (77/82 cms for ST candidates)
For Female candidates: Height—150cms (150 cms for ST candidates); Chest – Not applicable
Candidates’ Weight (for male/female)—Proportionate to height and age as per the medical standards.
Vision (male/ female)—6/6 and 6/9 with Better eye and Worse eye respectively in Distant vision.
Note: Cut-off in height and chest for Hill area candidates and any other eligible candidates is as per Govt. norms.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps or in form of crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of – DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.
Candidates applying for the post of Head Constable (Midwife) shall draw their Indian Postal Order in favour of – Commandant Base Hospital, ITBPF Delhi, payable at Delhi.
The Application Fee is for General and OBC candidates only. NO FEE FOR SC/ST, EX-SERVICEMAN AND ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES.
