Educational Qualification: i) Candidates should have passed out from the ITI duly recognized by NCVT with minimum 02 years duration except for the Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA), Painter, Plumber and Welder trades.
i) Candidates who have passed in the year 2017/ 2018/ 2019 are only eligible to apply.
iii) Candidates with Diploma/ Graduate in any discipline qualification are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/03/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.7700 per month for COPA, Painter, Plumber & Welder and Rs.8050 per month for other trades.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for One year under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 at Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), Chennai.
Note:-
i) Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organization are not eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying Exam (ITI) and Screening Test/ Interview. The Screening Test/ Interview or both will be conducted at Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), Chennai.
