Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi, is inviting application for 360 Nos. ITI Trade Apprentices for one and two years of training as Apprentices Act 1961. Advt. No. P&A/6 (115)/ 12. Higher Secondary candidates within ITI certificate in any of the below given trades may apply for the vacancies. Application form should be in prescribed format. Qualification criteria and norms is given below in brief—

2. Fitter: 20 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
3. Welder: 40 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
4. Machinist: 10 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
5. Electronic Mechanic: 25 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
6. Instrument Mechanic: 25 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
7. Draftsman (Mechanic): 10 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
8. Painter (General): 40 Nos. (Training Period—One year)
9. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 10 Nos. (Training Period— One year)
10. Sheet Metal Worker: 50 Nos. (Training Period— Two year)
11. Shipwright Wood: 20 Nos. (Training Period— Two year)
12. Mechanic Diesel: 20 Nos. (Training Period— Two year)
13. Fitter Pipe: 20 Nos. (Training Period— Two year)
Qualification Required: Higher Secondary (10+2) pass and with ITI (NCVT) certificate in relevant trade securing minimum 60% of marks.
Stipend during Training: Rs.3000 and Rs.4000 respectively for first and second year.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 31/08/2012.
