No. of Vacancies: 44 Nos. (OM-25, RBA-09, SC-03, ST-05, ALC-02)
Educational Qualification: B.Sc Forestry or its equivalent from any recognized University.
Candidates must be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum as on 01.01.2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300- Rs.34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4280/-
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 5.6 ft (5.4 ft for Leh/ Kargil ); Chest (unexpanded) — 84 cm; Chest (expanded) — 89 cm
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Viva Voce, Physical Test and Medical Test. Examination will be held at different centres in Srinagar and Jammu cities.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 25.04.2018
