NTA revealed that 95.8 percent of the registered candidates participated in paper 1 (BE / BTech) during the JEE Main January 2024 exam. This attendance rate represents one of the highest percentages recorded for JEE Main since NTA began conducting the examination, according to NTA.

JEE Main Paper 1 and Paper 2 Results Update
According to media reports, NTA is anticipated to unveil the results of Paper 1 before Paper 2, with an official confirmation pending. Students are advised to remain vigilant for any updates on the official website. Paper 1 exams were conducted from January 27 to February 1, while Paper 2 took place on January 24. Once NTA publishes the results on the official website, students can access them at either jeemain.nta.ac.in or ntaresults.nic.in.
According to JEE Main’s FAQ, Section A has multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and Section B requires numerical answers. In Section B, candidates need to answer any five out of ten questions. Negative marking applies to both sections.
