Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, is recruiting 50 Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Laboratory Technician. 1. Junior Engineer (Civil): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering and two years’ experience in design and engineering of Civil Projects, preferably in a Hospital environment.
OR
Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from and three years’ experience in design and engineering of Civil Projects, preferably in a Hospital environment.
2. Junior Engineer (Electrical): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Graduate in Electrical Engineering and two years’ experience in Planning, execution and maintenance of electrical installations, preferably in a Hospital environment.
OR
Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering and three years experience in Planning, execution and maintenance of electrical installations, preferably in a Hospital environment.
3. Laboratory Technician: 48 Nos. (Gen—27; SC—4; ST—3; OBC—14)
Qualification: B.Sc. (MLT or equivalent and 01 year experience in Medical Laboratory.
Age Limit (for all posts): Maximum 30yrs as on 14/07/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates for the post of Jr. Engineer (Civil/ Elect.) will be through Written and Personal Interview and for the post of Lab. Technician, the selection will be through Written Test and Skill test. (See the PDF file below for details).
Examination Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.250 for SC/ST) for the post of Jr. Engineer (Electrical/ Civil) and Rs.300/-(Rs.150 for SC/ST) for the post of Laboratory Technician.
The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Accounts Officer, JIPMER”, Payable at Pondicherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch).
