J&K COMBINED COMPETITIVE (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2018
No. of Vacancies: 70 Nos.
Services wise vacancies:
i) Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service: 27 posts (OM-16, RBA-05, SC-02, ST-03, ALC-01)
ii) J&K Police (G) Service: 31 posts (OM-18, RBA-06, SC-02, ST-03, ALC-01, OSC-01)
iii) J&K Accounts (G) Service: 12 posts (OM-07, RBA-02, SC-01, ST-01, OSC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01.012018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4800/-
Candidates who are permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State are only eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The tentative date of Preliminary Examination is 02.09.2018. The Main Examination will commence from Feb/ March-2019. The Preliminary Examination will be held in the following centres- Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kargil, Leh, Jammu, Doda & Rajouri.
