JNU Recruitment 2023 Post Details
Professor:
Pay Scale: Academic Level-14: Rs.1,44,200/- to Rs.2,18,200/-
Qualifications:
- Eminent scholar with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- High-quality published work, actively engaged in research.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Minimum ten years of teaching or equivalent research experience.
Associate Professor:
Pay Scale: Academic Level-13A: Rs. 1,31,400/- to Rs.2,17,100/-
Qualifications:
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum eight years of teaching/research experience.
- At least seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor:
Pay Scale: Academic Level – 10: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs.1,82,400/-
Qualifications:
- Master‘s degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) clearance or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016.
Application Fees
The application fee for the JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) recruitment, as per Advt. No. RC/70/2023, is as follows:

Applicable to candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories.
No Application Fee:
