ICMR – Desert Medicine Research Centre is recruiting eligible candidates for 08 posts of Research Assistant (Life Sciences/ Home Sciences), Field Worker/ Tech-III and Multi Tasking Staff. The vacancies are under the project “Consumption pattern of food and food products/ items high in fat, salt and sugar among selected cities/ towns and rural population of India” at Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU). The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a maximum period of 11 (eleven) months. 1. RESEARCH ASSISTANT (LIFE SCIENCES)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Life Science from a recognized university with three years work experience (Research) from a recognized institution.
OR
Master’s degree in Zoology/ BioChemistry/ Biotechnology from the recognized University.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
2. RESEARCH ASSISTANT (HOME SCIENCES)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Home Science or Food and Nutrition from a recognized university with three years work experience (Research) from a recognized institution.
OR
Master’s degree in Home Science or Food and Nutrition from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
3. FIELD WORKER/ TECH-III
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects and two years diploma (DMLT) or two years field/ laboratory
experience inrecognized organization.
B.Sc. (Life Science) degree shall be treated as 03 years experience.
Age Limit: Below 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 18000/- per month.
4. MULTI TASKING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: High school or Equivalent.
Age Limit: Below 25 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15800/- per month.
The vacancies are under the project “Consumption pattern of food and food products/ items high in fat, salt and sugar among selected cities/ towns and rural population of India” at Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU). The selected candidates have to do the assigned work of the Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU) or Desert Medicine Research Centre (DMRC).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. If the number of candidates are more than 30 Personal Discussion and Written Test will be conducted.
