ICMR – National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) is recruiting eligible candidates for 03 posts of Driver and Laboratory Attendant (Clinic). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of One year. The vacancies are for the study titled “The Evaluation of a standard treatment regimen of anti-tuberculosis drugs for patients with MDR-TB- STREAM Stage II” implemented by National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). 1. DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Matric/ S.S.C or equivalent from a recognized Board.
ii) Should have valid driving license to drive Light Motor Vehicles (Goods & Passenger) and Two wheeler with/ without Gear.
Experience: Two years’ driving experience in recognized organization/ Institute.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have license other than above to drive Heavy Motor Vehicle (Goods & Passenger) and Three Wheelers (Auto Rickshaw).
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15,549/- per month.
2. LABORATORY ATTENDANT (CLINIC)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Experience: One year experience in the laboratory in a Govt. Institution or recognized institute.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15,330/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of One year. The vacancies are for the study titled “The Evaluation of a standard treatment regimen of anti-tuberculosis drugs for patients with MDR-TB- STREAM Stage II” implemented by National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). The candidates will be posted in Chennai.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Driving Test or Written Test wherever applicable.
