The vacancies are for the project entitled, “New biogas development training centre” at the department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Guwahati. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of 11 (eleven) months. 1. PROJECT MANAGER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Agricultural Engineering/ M Sc. in Natural Sciences with first division.
Experience: Minimum 03 years’ experience in Biogas Technology Sector/ Renewable Energy Technology dissemination.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.42000/- per month.
2. SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: At least 2nd class Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 03 years’ experience in relevant field.
OR
Three years Diploma in Agricultural/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 06 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Matric level certificate of Local/ Regional Language from any recognized Board of Education.
Age Limit: Minimum 22 years and maximum 45 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.26500/- per month.
3. MASTER MASON
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matric with Certificate of Mason training for construction, installation and commissioning of biogas plants from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 05 years skilled experience of biogas plant construction, commissioning and their Operation & Maintenance.
OR
Middle class passed experienced Skilled Biogas Technician/ Biogas mason having experience of Biogas plant construction, commissioning and Operation & Maintenance work of minimum 08 years.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000/- per month.
4. PLUMBER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Matric with ITI in the relevant trade.
ii) Matriclevel certificate of Local/ Regional language from any recognized Board of Education.
Experience: Should have 05 years of experience.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000/- per month.
5. MULTI TASKING ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in relevant subject at least in 2nd division.
ii) Knowledge of English and Hindi/ Local language.
Experience: Three years experience in handling multiple tasks including office and accounts related work and skillful in computer operations.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.14500/- per month.
