1. PROJECT LINKED PERSONS (LINGUISTICS & COMPUTER SCIENCE)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
i) Linguistics: 02 posts
ii) Computer Science: 01 post
Educational Qualification:
i) For Linguistics– a) First class MA in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ allied disciplines with sound knowledge in Bangla morphology, grammar, part-of-speech and lexicography.
b) At least one year research experience in the area of Natural Language Processing and Language Computation.
Desirable:
i) Working knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point etc).
ii) Experience of working with NLP Toolkit and software.
iii) Ability to handle large amount of Unicode compatible Bangla text data.
iv) Good knowledge in POS tagging, Chunking, Text Annotation, transcription, etc.
v) Knowledge in project report preparation and research paper writing and presentation.
ii) For Computer Science– a) MCA/ B.Tech with good programming skill in Phyton, C++, or JAVA.
b) Experience in Webpage Design, Hompage maintenance, GUI development.
Desirable:
i) Good knowledge in HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, Corel Draw, Photoshop, MS Word, Excel.
ii) Experience of working with NLP Toolkit and software.
iii) Ability to handle large amount of Unicode compatible Bangla text data.
iv) Knowledge in Chunking, Text Annotation, transcription, etc.
v) Knowledge in project report preparation and research paper writing and presentation.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01.05.2018
Consolidated Pay: Between Rs.20000/- to Rs.25000/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis initially upto 31/03/2019 which may be extended based on performance of the candidates.
