1. INLAND DREDGE MASTER
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation Pass Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
ii) Having 05 years experience in operation of Dredgers with certificate of competency as Driver 1st Class or as Licence Engine Driver or as Master 1st class.
OR
Petty Officer from Technical Branch of Indian Navy or equivalent with 02 years experience in operation & maintenance of the dredgers.
OR
SR II certificate holders with a minimum of 03 years experience in operation & maintenance of Dredgers.
OR
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 05 years experience in operation and maintenance of Dredgers.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 21/12/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300- 34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
2. LICENCE ENGINE DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
ii) Certificate of competency as Licence Engine Driver.
iii) Should know Swimming.
Desirable: Preference will be given to Ex-Serviceman/ Coast Guard/ Para-Military forces personnel.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 20/12/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300- 34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
3. DREDGE CONTROL OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR-05, OBC-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation Pass Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
ii) Certificate of competency as Driver 1st Class or as Licence Engine Driver with 10 years experience in the grade.
OR
Petty Officer from Technical Branch of Indian Navy having one year experience in the Grade.
OR
Diploma In Mechanical/ Electrical Engg. with experience of one year in operation of Dredgers.
iii) Knowledge of Swimming.
Desirable: i) Experience in operation and maintenance of Dredgers.
ii) Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen/ Coast Guard/ Para-Military forces personnel.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 20/12/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300- 34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
4. MASTER 2ND CLASS
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-07, OBC-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Certificate of competency as Master 2nd Class.
ii) Know swimming.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20/12/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
5. DRIVER 1ST CLASS
No. of Vacancies: 18 Nos. (UR-08, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Certificate of competency as Driver 1st Class.
ii) Know swimming.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20/12/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
6. MASTER 3RD CLASS
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Certificate of competency as Master 3rd Class (Sarang).
ii) Know Swimming.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 21/12/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/ OBC/ Ex-Serviceman as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Swimming Test, Written Test and Trade Test.
The Trade Test/ Swimming Test will be held at Kolkata/ Patna, tentatively in the 3rd/ 4th week of January, 2019.
