Cultural discipline wise vacancies:
i) Singer- 01 post (Male)
ii) Dancer- 01 post (Female)
Educational Qualification: (i) 12th (+ 2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of ST/ SC/ Ex-Servicemen and where candidate possess qualifications higher than HSC, such as Graduation/ Post Graduation). Typewriting Proficiency of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi is essential for considering to the post of Jr. Clerk cum Typist/ Accounts Clerk cum Typist, based on vacancy OR 10th pass from recognized Board plus Act Apprentices/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT.
ii) Degree/ Diploma Certificate in the relevant stream of cultural talent from a Government recognized Institute.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio/ Doordarshan etc.
(ii) Prizes won at National level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Cultural Quota for the year 2019-20.
The selected candidates will have to undergo Training as prescribed for the post.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and on the basis of Testimonials/ Prizes etc. Written Test and Proficiency Test will be held at Maligaon, Guwahati.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBD/ Women/ Minorities/ Economic Backward Classes). Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of PFA/ NF Railway, payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati – 781011.
