SCIENTIST
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Engineering or Technology with 60% or above marks or equivalent CGPA in Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/ Information Systems
OR
ii) Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics with 60% or above marks.
Experience: i) 02 years for Master’s degree in Engineering & Technology.
ii) 03 years for Doctorate in Mathematics/ Statistics.
iii) 04 years for Doctorate in Engineering & Technology.
Desirable: i) M.E/ M.Tech in Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Networks & Information Security/ Embedded Systems/ VLSI Design/ Cyber Security/ Communication and Networking/ Wireless & Mobile Technology/ Big Data Analytics/ Signal Processing.
OR
ii) PhD in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Cyber Security/ Embedded Systems/ VLSI/ Information Security/ Mathematics/ Statistics.
iii) Candidates with Mathematics background with specialization in Pure Mathematics such as Algebra, Number Theory, Graph Theory, knowledge in Cryptographic Algorithms, or candidates with Statistics background with specialization in Quantitative Techniques/ Game Theory or candidates with Electronics or computer science background with Skills in VHDL/VERILOG programming, Network/ Cyber Security, Knowledge in Cryptographic Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, Cryptanalysis & Security protocols will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (for stage 8) and maximum 35 years (for stage 9) as on 06/07/2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs.86,854/- (for stage 8) and Rs.1,02,785/- (for stage 9) per month.
The posts are Temporary but likely to continue. The initial appointment will be made for a period of 04 (four) to 05 (five) years, on Contract basis which may be extended based on satisfactory performance of the candidates. The candidates will work in the challenging area of Cyber Security and Cryptology in Stages 8 and 9. The candidates selected for the posts will be on Probation for a period of one year.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
