The vacancies are for the MoEFCC sponsored project entitled “Population Management of Species involved in Human Wildlife Conflicts”. The candidates will be appointed on a Contractual basis, initially for a period of one year which can be extendable up to 3-5 years depending on performance of the candidates and project requirement. Educational Qualification: Masters in Veterinary Science (MVSc).
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 20.06.2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 60,000/- per month.
2. PROJECT SCIENTIST (ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY/ IMMUNOLOGY / ENDOCRINOLOGY)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Masters/ PhD in Life Sciences, Veterinary Science/ Biotechnology (Specialization or PhD in Animal Physiology/ Immunology/ Endocrinology).
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 20.06.2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 60,000/- per month.
3. PROJECT SCIENTIST (ECOLOGY)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Masters/ PhD Life Sciences/ Wildlife/ Zoology/ Biodiversity Conservation.

4. PROJECT FELLOW (ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY/ IMMUNOLOGY/ ENDOCRINOLOGY)

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (with specialization in Animal Physiology/ Immunology / Genetics/ Physiology/ Biotechnology).
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20.06.2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 23,000/- per month.
5. PROJECT FELLOW (ECOLOGY)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Wildlife/ Zoology/ Biodiversity Conservation .
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20.06.2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 23,000/- per month.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Written Examination and Personal Interview. The Online Written Examination will be conducted at six centres namely – (i) Dehradun (ii) Mumbai, (iii) Bangalore, (iv) Chennai, (v) Kolkata, (vi) Delhi/NCR.
The Interview is likely to be held on 16 July 2018 at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun.
