The vacancies are for ground duties at Chennai Airport on Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of three (03) years. 1. JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (PAX)
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognised University with 06 years experience in any of the area or combination there of, of fares, reservations, ticketing, computerized passenger check in/ cargo Handling.
OR
Graduate from a recognised University with M.B.A or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University with 03 years aviation experience in any of the area or combination thereof, of fares, reservation, ticketing, computerized passenger check-in/ cargo handling.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,300/- per month.
2. JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production/ Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electronics from a recognised University.
ii) Must be in possession of LMV.
iii) Preference will be given to those candidates with aviation experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,300/- per month.
3. CUSTOMER AGENT
No. of Vacancies: 155 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Must be a Graduate from a recognised University with knowledge of basic Computer Operations.
ii) Preference will be given to candidates possessing post graduate qualification, Diploma in IATA-UFTA or IATAFIATAA or IATA-DGR or IATA-CARGO, experience in any airport in any of the areas or combination thereof, of fares, reservation, ticketing, computerized passenger check-in/ cargo handling area with any airline or Ground Handling agency.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,190/- per month.
4. SENIOR RAMP SERVICES AGENT
No. of Vacancies: 34 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical/ Production/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering.
OR
ITI with NCTVT (total 03 years ) in Motor Vehicle/ Auto Electrical/ Air conditioning/ Diesel Mechanic/ Bench fitter/ Welder (ITI with NCTVTcertificate with one year experience in case of welder) after passing SSC/ Equivalent examination with Hindi/ English/ local language, as one of the subject.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates conversant with the local language.
iii) Candidate must posses valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence.
Experience: Four years experience in Maintenance and Operation of Ramp Equipment and Ramp Handling procedures at the airport.
OR
Maintenance and Operation of Automobile/ Hydraulic Equipment from Automobile/ Hydraulic Equipment Manufacturer or their Authorised Service Center. (in case of Welder the Four years experience should be over and above the minimum qualification Experience i.e total 05 years experience) aviation experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,290/- per month.
5. RAMP SERVICES AGENT
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering.
OR
ITI with NCTVT (total 03 years ) in Motor Vehicle/ Auto Electrical/ Air conditioning/ Diesel Mechanic/ Bench fitter/ Welder (ITI with NCTVT certificate with one year experience in case of welder) after passing SSC/ Equivalent examination with Hindi/ English/ local language, as one of the subject.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates conversant with the local language.
iii) Candidate must posses valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence.
iv) Preference will be given to the experienced candidates.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,190/- per month.
6. UTILITY AGENT-CUM-RAMP DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Minimum SSC (10th Std Pass).
ii) Must possess valid HMV Driving License.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18,360/- per month.
7. HANDYMAN/ HANDYWOMEN
No. of Vacancies: 147 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) SSC/ 10th standard pass.
ii) Must be able to read and understand English Language.
Desirable: Knowledge of Local and Hindi languages i.e ability to understand and speak is desirable.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16,590/- per month.
The vacancies are for ground duties at Chennai Airport on Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of three (03) years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening, Trade test, Physical Endurance Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Medical Examination wherever applicable.
