1. JUNIOR MANAGER (SAFETY)
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR-05, SC-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Full time Degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology from recognized Institute with 65% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ Departmental candidates).
ii) Possess PG Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Government.
iii) Has adequate knowledge in Odia language.
Experience: Not less than 02 years post qualification working experience.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 04/12/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 20600-46500/-
2. OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN (TRAINEE)
No. of Vacancies: 170 Nos. (UR-85, SC-27, ST-37, OBC-21. Out of the total posts, 11 posts are reserved for PWD & 25 posts for ESM)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i. Mechanical: 70 posts
ii. Metallurgy: 55 posts
iii. Electrical: 20 posts
iv. Electronics: 17 posts
v. Instrumentation: 08 posts
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline of Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation from recognized Institute, with 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 04/12/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.16800-24110/-
3. OPERATOR-CUM-TECHNICIAN (BOILER OPERATOR)
No. of Vacancies: 28 Nos. (UR-15, SC-04, ST-06, OBC-03. Out of the total posts, 02 posts are reserved for PWD & 04 posts for ESM)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Power Plant/ Production/ Instrumentation Engineering from recognized institute, with 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates).
ii) First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 04/12/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.16800-24110/-
For the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), the selected candidates will undergo Training for a period of two years, which can be extended for a further period of two years. During the training period, candidates will be paid Consolidated Pay of Rs.10700/- per month for 1st year and Rs.12200/- per month for 2nd year.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cms; Chest — 75 cm; Chest (expanded) — 79 cms; Weight — 35 Kgs.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cms; Chest — 70 cm; Chest (expanded) — 73 cms; Weight — 35 Kgs.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Test/ Trade Test and Interview wherever applicable. The Written Test for the post of Jr. Manager (Safety) will be conducted at Rourkela. The Written Test for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) will be conducted in the following centres- Rourkela, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
