1. JUNIOR ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (Male- 03 posts (UR-01, OBC/ MOBC-01, ST(H)-01), Female- 02 posts (UR-01, OBC/ MOBC-01))
Educational Qualification: i) Must be a Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institutions and must possess Diploma in Computer.
In case of candidates having Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent from any recognized Universities/ Institutions, may also submit separate diploma certificate in computer, if any.
ii) The candidate should be ordinarily resident of Assam.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000 — Rs.60500
2. STENOGRAPHER GRADE- III
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Male- 01 post (OBC/ MOBC), Female- 01 post (OBC/ MOBC))
Educational Qualification: i) Must be a Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institutions with having National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI, in Assam or other recognized Institute with 80 WPM in English Stenography.
ii) The candidate should be ordinarily resident of Assam.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000 — Rs.60500
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
The vacancies are under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards.
Physical Fitness:- Candidates must have sound health both mentally and physically and free from organic defect or bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duty.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Practical Test and Stenography Test wherever applicable.
