Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is recruiting 32 persons for the post of “Junior Assistant (Trainee)”. The required age and qualification is given below—
Post: Junior Assistant (Trainee)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% of marks (45% in case of SC/ST and PH candidates) may apply for the post.
Candidate should have done minimum 1 year diploma course in Computer Application and should have ability to type 40 words per minute in English in computer.
Age: Within 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1-9-2011. Age relaxation: OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and PH-10yrs.
First two years will be on probation. During probation stipend of Rs.8250 for the first year and Rs.9350 for the Second year. If qualified then salary after probation will be Rs.9160 – Rs.13150 per month.
Candidates will be selected through Written Test, Computer Skill Test, Computer Test and Interview. For written test questions will be on—Reasoning, General Awareness, English and Quantitative Aptitude.
Exam will be at Kolkata

There is no need to send any documents by post. Candidate should mention their valid email id because all the correspondence will be made through email. Date and venue of written exam will be informed to the candidates through email only.
