Airports Authority of India (AAI) is recruiting 29 persons for the post of “Junior Assistant (MT Driver)” at Delhi and for various airports of Northern Region. Application form can be prepared as per prescribed format and should reach within 16th April 2012. Details below—

Post: Junior Assistant (MT Driver)

Vacancies: 29 Nos. (Gen-22; SC-1; OBC-6)

Qualification: Madhyamik pass (Class – X) pass candidates with valid Driving Licence of Heavy Duty Vehicles. Candidate should have ability to rectify vehicle’s troubles and should have at least elementary knowledge of repairs.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in driving Heavy Vehicles. Persons with additional experience of driving/ operating earth moving equipment will be preferred.
Candidates must be registered in Local Employment Exchange.

Required Eye Sight: 6/6 in distant vision with each without glasses and Near Vision N-5 with eye with or without glasses
Weightage will be given the candidates who have done 10+2. Knowledge of Local language/ Hindi or English is desirable.

Age limit: Maximum 30yrs as on 29/2/2012. Age relaxation is as per govt. norms

Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview.

How to Apply: Prepare the Application on plain paper as per prescribed format. Candidates are required to prepare Demand Draft of Rs.100 in favour of – Airport Authority of India and payable at—New Delhi. SC/ST candidates do not require Demand Draft)
Application form should be enclosed with attested copies (by Gazetted Officer) of—

• Qualification Certificate
• Driving Licence
• Driving Experience certificate
• Proof of Age
• Caste Certificate, if SC/ST or OBC
• And any other relevant documents, if any.
• 3 recent passport size photographs (one copy pasted on application form and duly attested by Gazetted Officer and 2 copies as enclosures)

N.B: Candidates who have applied earlier in the year 2007 do not need to apply again for this post.
