Recruitment of “Junior Clerk” in Parliament of India- Lok Sabha Secretariat.

Parliament of India—Joint Recruitment Cell is recruiting for the post of “Junior Clerk” in Lok Sabha Secretariat. Degree holders with knowledge of typing may apply for the post –

Name of the Post: Junior Clerk
Number of vacancies: 22 nos. (General Candidates only)
N.B.: Candidates from other categories may also apply because of chances of vacancies occurring in other categories also. The number of available vacancies may increase.

Qualification: bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognised university or its equivalent may apply. Candidates should have a ability to type 40 words per minute in computer.
Preference will be given to person having typing speed of 40 words per minute both in English and Hindi. Candidates having certificate in computer course from recognised computer training centre/Inst is desirable

Age limit: Candidates should be within 27 years. Age relaxation is as per government norms.

Pay scale: Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20,200 and grade pay of Rs. 2400

Selection Step: Candidates will be selected through written test and typing test. Preliminarily exam will be two part – Part A-general knowledge and current affairs of 50 marks and part B-General English of 50 marks.
Selected candidates from preliminary exam will be called for Descriptive Written Paper and Typing Test. Descriptive written paper will be of – Essay, Letter and Grammer of 100 marks and Typing Test paper will be – 40 words per minute in English/Hindi of 100 marks.
Examination centre can be opted in Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai beside Delhi.

How to Apply: application can be prepared on plain paper as per given format. Application can be filled in Hindi or English. Candidates should affix two passport size photographs (one on the application form and other on the attendance sheet). Along with the application candidates should enclose all the educational and other documents. For age proof candidates should enclose the certificate of Matriculation/Madhyamik.
