Recruitment of 603 Junior Engineer in Border Road Organization’s (BRO) General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF) gref

Central Govt.—Border Roads Organization’s (BRO) General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF) is recruiting 603 males for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil)
Candidates with 3 years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from any recognized institute can apply for the post. Candidates with Diploma in Civil Engineering Course pass from College of Military Engineering were also eligible to apply. Details given below.

Age should be between 18 to 27 years as on 25-4-2011. (Age relaxation: SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Es-Serviceman- as per rule.)

Total no. of Post: 603 post (OBC-526, SC-14 and ST-63)
All post were reserved for OBC , SC and ST candidates. Unreserved or General Candidates should not apply.

Candidates’ height should be 157 cm and chest unexpanded/expanded—75/80 cm. Body weight should be minimum 50 Kg. Sikkim, Tripura along with candidates of North-Eastern and Hilly areas of district Darjeeling will receive cut-off 5 cm in Height and 2.5 kg in Weight. Eye sight with good eyes—6/12 and bad eyes—6/36 in distance.

For candidates selection there will be Physical Measurement, Physical Ability Test, Written Test and Interview.

Along with Application, candidates should enclosed—

• Attested copies of Birth date certificate, Education certificate and Caste certificate. 
• Recent 2 nos. color pass port size photo, 1 copy pasted on application form and then attested by Gazetted officer and 2nd copy, without attestation, enclosed with the form. 
• In case of OBC candidates, deposit of Rs. 10 in any branch of State Bank of India should be made. Deposition will be in account of: Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune-411015, In Public Fund A/C No.11182905409 of State Bank of India, Khadki Branch, Pune, Code No.01629. After depositing the amount, the counter-foil receipt should be taken from the Bank and this receipt should be enclosed with the application.

For area/place where no core banking is available in branch of State Bank of India, the candidates should deposit the amount of Rs.10 through Crossed Bank Draft. Draft should be prepared in favour of: Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune-411015, and payable at: State Bank of India, Khadki Branch, Pune, Code No.01629. No fee required for SC/ST and Ex-Servceman.

On the top of the application’s envelope, write: Application for the post of…………………, Category—SC/ST/OBC. Advertisement No.01/2011
