1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 257 Nos. (UR-216, SC-35, ST-06. Out of which, 08 posts are reserved for ESM, 36 posts for PWD & 03 posts for Sports Person)
Educational Qualification: i) Must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from any recognized Institution.
ii) The candidate must have Odia as one of the subjects in the HSC or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E Standard or passed in Odia as language subject in Final examination of Class- VII or passed a test in Odia in M.E School Standard conducted by the Education Department, Govt. of Odisha.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16,880/- per month.
2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 106 Nos. (UR-63, SEBC-13, ST-30. Out of which, 03 posts are reserved for ESM, 05 posts for PWD & 01 post for Sports Persons)
Educational Qualification: i) Must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from any recognized Institution.
ii) The candidate must have Odia as one of the subjects in the HSC or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E Standard or passed in Odia as language subject in Final examination of Class- VII or passed a test in Odia in M.E School Standard conducted by the Education Department, Govt. of Odisha.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16,880/- per month.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
i) The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
ii) Candidate must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject, or have passed High School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as a subject/ medium of examination in non-language subject, or have passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above or have passed a test in Odia in M.E School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/SEBC & Women candidates and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Main Written Examination, Career Evaluation and Certificate Verification.
