1. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer-I (Electrical)
Vacant Posts: 1323 Nos.
Qualification: Graduates in Engineering with minimum 60% marks in total or AMIE with minimum 55% marks in totals in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power System & High Voltage/ Power Plant Engineering from any recognised Institutes or university may apply for the post.
2. Name of the post: Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical)
Vacant Posts: 47 (only in Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd.)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering with 60% marks or AMIE with 55% marks in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Production & Industrial/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Plant Engineering from any recognized Institutes or University may apply for the post.
3. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer-I (Civil)
Vacant Posts: 63 Nos.
Qualification: Graduates in Engineering with 60% marks or AMIE with 55% marks in total in Civil Engineering may apply for the post.
4. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer-I (PLCC/ Control & Instrumentation)
Vacant Posts: 28
Qualification: Graduates in Engineering with 60% marks or AMIE with 55% marks in Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Controls/ Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Industrial Electronics from any recognised University or Institutes may apply.
5. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer-I (Fire Fighting)
Vacant Posts: 14 Nos. (In RVUNL only)
Qualification: Graduates in Engineering with 60% marks or AMIE with 55% marks in Fire Fighting Engineering may apply for the post.
Age limits and Age relaxation: Candidates should be between 21yrs to 35 yrs as on 30.07.2011.
Age relaxation—Male candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/BC/SBC of Rajasthan & Female candidates (Gen) will receive relaxation by 5 years. Female candidates of above mentioned categories of Rajasthan will receive 10yrs. PH candidates will receive as per rules.
Note: SC/ST/OBC candidates from states other than Rajasthan should apply as General candidates.
Pay Scale: For first 2 years as a “Probationer Trainee” will receive Rs.10000 per month. After completion of training period of 2yrs, pay scale will be Rs.9300-Rs.34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.3200
Mode of Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test which will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Written Test will be held at Jaipur on dated 28th August. Questions will be of level of Graduation Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ mechanical/ Civil/ PLCC/ C&I/ Fire Fighting).

Before applying online, candidates should visit the site and download the system generated on-line challan in triplicate. There will be unique “Registration Number” on challan. This registration no. will be required during fill-upping online form. With this challan, candidates should deposit the amount of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500 for SC/ST/OBC/BC/SBC/PH of Rajasthan) in any branch of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur in account of—“SSBJ Power Jyoti Account No. 61113250483”. Now candidates can visit the website again and fill the online application as instructed.
After submitting the online form, a computer generated application will appear. Candidates should make print-out of this generated application.
During Written Test, Candidates should bring the print-out application form, original fee challan receipt and all qualification’s documents in original and self-attested copies & Call Letter.

Candidates can download their call letter/permission letter to sit in Written Competitive Exam from dated 12th Aug 2011 onward.
