1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (TRAINEE)- ELECTRICAL
No. of Vacancies: 191 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
ii) Candidate must produce a certificate from the head of the Institution from which he passed out or from a gazzated officer in Uttar Pradesh that he can read and write Hindi in the Devnagri Script, provided that such a certificate will not be necessary in the case of a candidate who passed the High School or an equivalent examination with Hindi or who has obtained a degree, diploma or certificate of any Hindi examination from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2020.
Basic Pay: Rs.44900 per month
2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (TRAINEE)- ELECTRONICS/ TELECOMMUNICATION
No. of Vacancies: 21 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Electronics/ Tele Communication.
ii) Candidate must produce a certificate from the head of the Institution from which he passed out or from a gazzated officer in Uttar Pradesh that he can read and write Hindi in the Devnagri Script, provided that such a certificate will not be necessary in the case of a candidate who passed the High School or an equivalent examination with Hindi or who has obtained a degree, diploma or certificate of any Hindi examination from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2020.
Basic Pay: Rs.44900 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ OBC of Uttar Pradesh and 15 years for PH category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The posts are under E&M Cadre under Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) and its DISCOMS, TRANSCO. The selected candidates will undergo training programme for a period as decided by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL).
Reserved category candidates belonging to states other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General candidates.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held tentatively in First week of February 2021 at Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Noida/ Greater Noida and Meerut cities.
