Junior Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)
Educational Qualification- In case of Junior Engineers (Civil) in West Bengal Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers (Civil)-Diploma in Civil Engineering from the State Council for Engineering and Technical Education,West Bengal or its equivalent.
In case of Junior Engineers (Mechanical) in West Bengal Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers(Mechanical)- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the State Council for Engineering and Technical Education, West Bengal or its equivalent.
In case of Junior Engineers (Electrical) in West Bengal Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers (Electrical)- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the State Council for Engineering and Technical Education, West Bengal or its equivalent.
NOTE: Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali)
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2022. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection:
The Written Examination will be held in Kolkata centre tentatively in the month of April or thereabout followed by the Interview. All information will be also available in the official website of West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) — https://wbpsc.gov.in

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO WEST BENGAL PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (WBPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
