Geoinformatics & Remote Sensing Cell under West Bengal State Council of Science and Technology, (Govt. of West Bengal) is recruiting “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” and “Technical Assistant (TA)” on temporary basis for Training Programmes on Remote Sensing and GIS. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed format within 31-10-2012. Educational norms and etc in brief is given below—
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 1 Nos.
Qualification: PG Diploma in Geoinformatics of atleast one year duration with 1st Class Master degree in any branch of Science or Geography or 1st class Bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering or equivalent.
Remuneration: Rs.14100/- per month
2. Technical Assistant (TA): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor degree in any discipline and Computer application course of minimum 6 months duration.
One year of working experience in EDP/ Computer related data entry work is required.
Remuneration: Rs.8000/- per month
Age limits: within 30yrs as on 01/11/2012 (for both posts). Relaxation in age will be given for candidates with higher Qualification and longer period of experience.
Selection of the candidates will be done through Interview but if the numbers of applicant is large then Written Test may be conducted and shortlist will be prepared.
